About Us

Pastor Edward D. Herndon, an ordained minister by the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, served as Bible teacher at the Northeastern Academy for over forty years. While he could have chosen to minister at a local church, Pastor Herndon decided to make his classroom his congregation. It was his desire to positively impact the lives of young people and prepare them not only for this life, but also for eternity. In 2011, Pastor Herndon, passed and the loss of his ministry was definitely felt. Not wanting his legacy of service to be forgotten, a group of former students and family members gathered to form The Edward D. Herndon Legacy Foundation, Inc.
